Dunes to Limus – This weekend had it all

The sandy course of Mol was only just clear of the multiple categories of Master who were taking part in the Masters World Championships before Sundays race. Many elite riders were taking the opportunity for a week of training in the sun while the classification races took a break so it left an opportunity for other riders to steel the glory. Yannick Peeters took an excellent 8^th
place and Thomas Mein, who’s recently transferred to the Tarteletto – Isorex team rode to an impressive 13^th place. In the Women race it was top 10 for Joyce Vanderbeken and Maghalie Rochette with 7^th and 8^threspectively.

In Hasselt the day before Eli Iserbyt ended on the podium with 3^rd place. Ryan Cortjens had already taken the win in the junior race earlier in the day, a victory that came immediately before Ellen van Loy took the win. Joyce Vanderbeken and Maghalie Rochette also finished in the top 10.

In the USA it was good to see Caroline Mani back in the action with 5^th place on day 1 in NBX, backed up with a strong 6^th place on day 2. In Germany at the Radcross Grandprix Francis Mourey took 4^th place ahead of Gosse van der Meer in 7^th.
There was also back to back racing in the Baque region of Spain. A strong performance from Delikia-Ginestar saw Felipe Orts take the win with Ismael Esteban also on the podium in 3^rd. In the Women’s race, Helen Wyman got back to winning ways taking a strong win on the muddy course. Sunday was a repeat victory for both Felipe and Helen, and another solid performance by Ismael to take 5^th place.
